CMT is short for Charcot Marie Tooth Syndrome, a nueromuscular disease that is found in the Muscular Dystrophy Family. It is degenerative and is passed from one family member to another. Doug has it, our son Tim has it and our grandson Kellen is too young to diagnose. Our Girls may also have it or be carriers of the gene. Although it is not life threatening, the onset of CMT is life altering and debilitating.
In support of research we attended the Double Header/Fireworks game at Patriots Stadium, Bridgewater, New Jersey, yesterday, Saturday, August 11, 2012.
Guess who said...."I know you!" The girl in blue - Lori Mattheiss, was our first employee at Scrapbooking Moments In Time in Bound Brook, New Jersey. Standing next to her is Alanna Huber, the group leader for the NJ. CMT Association. Lori's son was diagnosed with CMT three years ago (lori carries the gene)
We also met family there! Have not seen them in ten years but here at Patriots Stadium we met Bruce Rex and his daughter Karen Rex Lambert.
Can you tell that they are related? In the background is Bruce's wife, Kathy. It was so nice to talk to them again.
UH! OH! clouds are moving in .....Let's finish the first game.
And the second game of the double header begins.

Rain, rain go away.......
Bridgewater New Jersey has an ordinance that fireworks cannot be set off after 11pm. The rain delays prevented the fireworks.....But everyone was offered to turn in their tickets for another FREE game!
