Grandma Junction
It's really called Kid Junction and it's located out in Readington. And it is a toss up who had more fun.....the children or the Grandmother. Emilie is furloughed this week, so we decided to have some fun together with the girls. We spent around two hours and the girls were fully engaged for the entire time. So much so that Samantha had a meltdown whe it was time to leave. Only 162 pictures..........so maybe I got 20 good ones!
(By the way, the girls were not the only ones who needed a nap!!!)

Was Grey's, Now Criminal!
Grey's Anatomy has failed to inspire me. I still watch it, but not with the same enthusiasm I once had. Of course that left a void, which I filled with Criminal Minds. You have to pay attention to Criminal, you don't want to miss any clues nor do you want to solve the crime too quickly. Usually there is a twist. It is fast paced and not at all predictable. The cast is intense, dedicated and talented. They make it believable. Enough gushing, I like it.

Productive
Did a spoon dance with Samantha and Kamryn. Took down the christmas tree and put it away. Brought in four loads of wood and one bag of kindling. Picked up about 10 pounds of dog poop from the back yard. Girls are awake from their naps. Sam will get picked up in about an hour, then DB and I will deliver Kamryn to Robyn at work. On to Pop-Pop's for Caroline's cooked chicken , rice and steamed vegetables and then three intense games of Kismet. Not bad for a day's work!

Remembering Don
Doug and I left home around 8:15am this morning to take Don, my father-in-law's remaining ashes to Island Beach State Park in New Jersey. Today is the one year anniversary of his passing. Most of Don is buried in Florida, next to Doug's Mother, Jean. So we don't have a gravesite to visit - just the beach, Doug's favorite place. Chase the poodle was with us and had a great time running around. Doug drank a beer in salute to his father, we watched until all of the ashes had been taken into the sea and then in the rain, trudged back to our car.

Just what I Needed!
After the stress of last week, I needed this day off, to have some fun .
Started the Day at Angela's at 10am cropping until about 1pm when we stopped to have a weight watcher meal. Barbara arrived soon after and we continued to crop. (Not necessarily my prolific self today). At around 4pm we stopped cropping, went potty and then went directly to the Silver Decoy Winery in Robbinsville, New Jersey. We tasted at least five or six different wines, I started to giggle, and Ang and Barb actually bought some.Left winery and then went to a diner called Americana where I had an excellent chicken francaise. Returned to Angela's where we had angelfood squares with slivered almonds and cropped until 8:45. Arrived home around 9:15. Life is good!
