Cheerleaders are Awesome!

And Samantha is Great!

 

She  is a member of the team.

 

She has the moves.

 

She has the spirit.

 

She tries her best.

 

She is awesome!

 

GP and I attended the cheerleading
 competition dress rehearsal tonight at the Bound Brook High Gymnasium. The official competition will be held in Trenton, N.J., this Sunday, October 13, 2013.

Like Father, Like Son

Was invited at the last minute and was very happy to go. Weather in the 60's, overcast and threatening. Met everyone at the Country Griddle in Flemington for lunch, then on to Schaefer Farms. Not often do we get a chance to be with all four grandchildren together.

Kamryn's is a piece of cake and just a little bit bigger than Kellen's.

I took 124 pictures and went right home and printed the best 48 of them. Every picture made me smile. How lucky am I that I get to share this day with almost my whole family.

Swim Lessons

NO THUNDER! NO LIGHTNING!

So the swim lessons go on.

Samantha had a private, one hour swim lesson because she was the only chjld to show up!

 

Katie, Sam's teacher turned 18 and will not be returning next year to teach swim lessons at the Middlesex pool.

The experience is unlimited tastes of ice cream and ice tea AND then you get to concoct your own unique ice cream flavor. We had a blast!

We even got to make our own commercial for our special flavors.

Lancaster, Pennsylvania

We have waited so long for this trip. We have such high expectations. Almost a four day get-a-way.
Angela Cooper, Barbara Base and I attended the Creating Keepsakes Convention and then did some sightseeing. We called it hunting and shooting Amish (a joke). When we saw an Amish person we would try to "shoot" a picture of them. Highly inappropriate but we found it very funny.
