Usually we take Pop out to Aunt Chris's for Father's Day. Today we decided to go all out and give him breakfast in bed! Unfortunately it was a hospital bed! Saturday morning he was admitted to Somerset Hospital with an infection in his left arm. (He had just had some minor surgery on it on Thursday to remove more skin cancer from an already operated area). Doctors wetre pretty concerned with the redness and the shooting pains going up to his shoulder. He is on an IV every six hours loaded with an antibiotic. He can get up and walk around and get himself to the bathroom.......so we shall see! By the way, in true Richard Gordon style he warmed his cold fingers on his right hand on top of the hot infected skin of his left arm, "natural heat"!
